Over 10 million people in Germany regularly suffer from knee pain. This can be caused by injuries, accidents or inflammation of the joint, but also by incorrect or excessive strain. What lies behind the pain? What therapies are available? How can you help yourself, and when is it better to seek professional help? Professor Joachim Grifka answers all these questions, explains the different complaints and disorders of the knee and shows what you can do yourself and when it is better to consult a doctor.
