PROFIT IS NOT ENOUGH! - 21 ECONOMIC MYTHS

  • Why the market is not always right – fact-checking economic dogmas.
  • A book for all those who wonder what’s gone wrong in the economy.
  • Questions that we deal with every day and which affect us all – explained in a concise and easily understandable way.

Debts damage our children’s future. Public authorities have to break even. Basic income is not affordable. Crises come, but they also go again. We hear such theses every day. But are they true? Three renowned economics experts separate the wheat from the chaff and debunk 21 economic myths that have been damaging to all of us for a long time now. They explain why we hardly get any interest on our savings any more, whether the Internet is a stable economic factor, whether carbon offsetting can effectively lower CO2 emissions – and which principles are behind all of this. And they keep asking: is there an alternative, is there a better way?
